It was a nice surprise for us: the hotel is user friendly and well serviced. It is located right in the historic centre of Prague and at the same time the rooms are quiet. The building of the 14th century itself is worth visiting. I am definitely planning to stay in the Black Star during my next visit of Prague. I researched many apartments and hotels on the internet and chose the Black Star because of its many reviews, mostly all good. I feel compelled to share my experience of the Black Star as all to often good feedback is not expressed. I can recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a large self contained apartment, which is full of character, clean, fantastic location just of the old Town Square and minutes from Charles Bridge and good value for money. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous and on hand 24 hours. The black star is attached to its hotel the Clemintine which serves breakfast. Located under the apartments is a fabulous Italian restaraunt/Wine Bar, don't let the wine bar put you off as it is not at all noisy and both food and wine are great. I will definately be returning to The Black Star and have told all of my friends and family, maybe a mistake as we don't want it to get to popular and drive the price sky high. Should be 5 star rated, and I would also like to thank Tanya for her warm welcome and pleasant smile. Well done The Black Star. Sice jsme využili vašich služeb pouze na jednu noc, ale s velice dobrým pocite jsme odjíždìli a upøímnì musím sdìlit, že budu hovoøit velice kladnì o poskytovaných službách. Pevnì vìøím, že toto ubytování nebylo poslední a budu se velice ráda vracet do vašeho hotelu. Just to let you know that we had a lovely stay at the Black Star and would reccommend it to friends in the future. The apartment was lovely and furnished to a high standard, and the location was perfect for us. Everything went smoothly including transfer to and from the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It far exceeded the expectations of myself and friends. We could find no reason to fault anything about it. It was exceptionally clean, the food provided more than filled us in the mornings and the decor was quite superb as well.
